The Deputy Collection Manager assists in managing the end-to-end collection process for LPG accounts, including industrial, commercial, and retail clients. This role ensures timely collection of receivables, monitors customer credit limits, and supports the Collection Manager in minimizing overdue accounts while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Support the Collection Manager in overseeing daily collection operations for LPG accounts
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable, including bulk, commercial, and dealer accounts
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers such as distributors, resellers, and corporate clients
- Review aging reports and prioritize high-risk or overdue accounts
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams regarding deliveries, billing, and payment status
- Implement effective collection strategies to reduce past-due accounts and bad debts
- Handle escalations and negotiate payment terms with delinquent customers
- Ensure adherence to company credit policies, payment terms, and compliance standards
- Assist in evaluating customer creditworthiness and recommending credit limits
- Prepare and present collection performance reports to management
- Supervise, coach, and monitor collection staff or field collectors
- Conduct field visits when necessary to follow up on high-value or problematic accounts.
Job Qualification
- Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 3–5 years of experience in collections or credit control, preferably in oil & gas.
- Experience handling distributor or dealer accounts is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and credit management
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems
- Willing to be assigned in Bagong Ilog, Pasig City.
