Laboratory Analyst
Job Description
The Laboratory Analyst conducts tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure quality and guide operations by following the Philippine National Standards in the oil and gas industry.
KEY RESPONIBILITIES:
- Perform laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products
- Analyze and report laboratory results, ensuring conformity to product specifications based on the PNS Quality Formulation Manual
- Properly log and document laboratory results
- Approve or reject products or raw materials based on the product specifications
- Assist with oil analytical quality testing and analysis using various laboratory instruments.
- Provide input in the resolution of technical problems and conduct laboratory investigations
- Perform basic quality control analysis on raw material process and oil sample
Job Qualification
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of BS Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- PRC is an advantage but not required
- Relevant laboratory experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with the PNS Quality Formulation Manual
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
