Business Development Executive – Wholesale
Job Description
The Wholesale LPG Business Development Executive is responsible for driving growth in the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) wholesale market. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives to expand market share and revenue. The role also includes financial oversight of client accounts, ensuring healthy receivables and timely collections.
Market Expansion & Sales
- Identify and develop new wholesale LPG clients across industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.
- Conduct market research to uncover trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing structures aligned with company goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with senior management to set sales targets and growth strategies.
- Develop and implement territory-specific business plans.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure client supply requirements are met.
AR Analysis & TAR/OD Management
- Monitor and analyze Accounts Receivable (AR) performance across assigned accounts.
- Track Total Account Receivables (TAR) and Overdue (OD) balances to ensure timely collections.
- Work closely with finance teams to resolve payment delays and disputes.
- Implement proactive measures to reduce overdue accounts and improve cash flow.
- Provide regular reports on AR status, aging analysis, and collection forecasts.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales and financial performance reports.
- Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Stay updated on government policies affecting LPG distribution.
Job Qualification
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in LPG, oil & gas, or energy sector sales.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and financial reporting systems.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

- Deep understanding of LPG supply chain and pricing models.
- Experience in B2B sales and client acquisition.
- Strong analytical skills in financial metrics and receivables management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
