| Leaks can be identified by following a simple procedure: |
- Ready the materials: soap - water solution and clean cloth.
- Soak the cloth in the solution.
- Wipe the suspected areas of leak, like, welding joints, neck ring and valve.
- Bubbles will appear in the area where leak is positive.

| End users can have their own checklist before buying their LPG cylinders; consumers can be guided by looking for bulges, dents and leaks. Below are the points to consider when doing visual inspection of the cylinders: |

Inspect for bulges, dents and corrosion:
- upper
- bottom cap
B- Inspection points for corrosion:
- collar
- welding joints
C - Inspection points for leaks:
- welding joints
- valve
- neck ring
D - Ground clearance should be not less than 16 mm
E- Points susceptive to corrosion:
- Foot ring
- Bottom cao
- Welding joints
